Thank you for coming to my website.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I have always loved the beautiful colors of nature. The sunsets (I didn't see many sunrises, he he!) from Mom's back yard are one of the most beautiful things to see. The smells of fresh cut hay and Alfalfa, especially when it rains right afterwards, is one of the best smells.
I moved to Texas in the fall of 1995. I have since found my soul-mate, gotten married, we have two wonderful sons, and I found lots of wonderful friends. The sunsets are pretty here, and the Dallas skyline is beautiful and sparkly at night. I love the springtime when the Texas bluebonnets are in full bloom and the beautiful colors of the tree leaves in the fall.
A few years after moving to Texas, I found myself thinking about sewing again. I hadn't sewn anything since college. I got my first machine for my birthday. I did a few things and then put it in the closet. Then several years ago, I brought it out and started sewing for my family. My love for sewing came BACK! I wore that machine out and my Husband bought me another one (I wore that one out too!)! I have added a serger and recently an embroidery machine!
I decided on a butterfly as my logo because I feel that I have re-invented myself again in my 30's and 40's. I found myself wanting more out of life. I have always said that I have a business head and not a creative head. I am finding that I have both and am enjoying every minute of my new found creativity.
